Anyone else spot the freudian " whisky " instead of " whisk " in @Dave7 post?
I now have a mental image of Dave as Serge Gainsburg and Mo as Jane Birkin lounging on a beach and bickering about the comparative advantages of tubes vs tubeless as the sun climbs in an azure sky...

I seriously didnt spot that. Nothing but the finest champagne for our Mo .

My weather station says 7 celsiuses but that cold North wind is brutal, straight from Valhalla.

Dry first thing down gale force wind and rain. Nice.
Tip later this morning is only definite plan at present. No doubt stuff will crop up.

Definitely a gusty wind this morning.
So gusty that the man pigeon attempting to make new little pigeons with the lady pigeon got blown off his mission..

Mind you if they weren't doing it on the top of a fence post at the end of the garden it might have worked 🤷‍♂️

Morning all

Blowin' a hoolie out there.
Will have a 'manufacturing morning' in my workshop, making some more stock of engine stands, oil seal tools and clutch tools - as I had a bit of a run on things at the start of the week.

Tidy up, music practice, a bit of work on the C70 in readiness formits MOT in 2 weeks time, lunch, then a post prandial snooze.

I have found out I need to nip to Aldi. I am doing a slow cooker chicken stew/hash thingy and I need spuds. I also need bird food which they sell.
Bedding is now in the washer.
No one understands what us men have to go through !!

Had to go for a blood test first thing

As they are digging up the road I reckoned it would be easier and quicker to ride there rather than driver all around the block
I normally do anyway as parking is a right pain there so I try to only take the car if I am goign somewhere else that needs it

anyway - that was banking on decent weather
but when I got up it looked OK - trees were swaying a bit but I reckoned it would be OK for a short run

Boy was it windy
not 40 mph as sone have mentioned in far flung places

but when I started off if really knocked me sideways at one point!

anyway all was OK
the nurse took the blood - a bit stabby but I've had worse

then came back the long way round anyway as I noticed the mileometer on the bike was saying 11796 miles
so clearly I had to get it to over 11800 before I stopped!
