Good afternoon. It's cold, grey and generally not Spring like. The forecast for Tuesday night is 90% snow from midnight and -3⁰ at 09.00 Wednesday!!!! Only yesterday I was idly thinking I might start my tomatoes in a couple of weeks.

#2SP is here today. She is potty training. We've had two very successful No.1s and a very unsuccessful No.2........oh the joy of being a Granddad. 🤣

We're watching Hey Dugee! I do recommend this to you all. Try watching The Cake Making episode............then send virtual hugs to every grandparent you know........

Went to a physion yesterday about my feet and legs
basically I had a problem a few months ago but have had different problems over the years

so we thought it would be best to try to stop it happening again

anyway - turns out that my feet point in the wrong direction - not straight forward more outwards than normal
and my ankles, knees and wrists and finger are bend far too far backwards

and as a result In have bone spurs and something similar on my knees
and also my knees get more wear and tear than those of normal people

AKA - my legs are weird and I walk like a duck

anyway - he suggested some insoles - but couldn;t suggest anything specific
so I will have to try a few and see which ones don;t cripple me!!

All this is one reason I cycle - when my feet/knees hurt - cycling is still OK!!!

In all seriousness you need to see a good podiatrist, preferably one who specialises in bio-mechanics. I have some issues resulting from a 5mm difference in leg length. The knock on effect is considerable. My podiatrist fixed it all.

Got what was to me a lengthy walk in. The 'country park' at the back goes further than I realised. I found a few areas that I must go back and explore. Lots of old woodland and good sized ponds.
Found a small patch of these Grape Hyathinth
