Good morning all.
I awake to a clear blue sky and frost on the ground.
I have another book to return to the library ans I will peruse the shelves for another book to borrow. That will give me the chance of getting out on the bikefor a ride in the process.
I have a message from the quacks that they have referred me to a pre diabetic group based on my recent blood tests. My blood sugar reading was 0.1% over the top of the normal range, all other blood test were normal. Probably my fault for over indulgence the weekend before. But I now have a programme to follow of 13, 1 hour group sessions over the next 10 months with a dietary nutritionist, it soundss like the food version of the alcoholics anonymous. I will go along anyway and see what they are about. My diet is very good with very little processed food, plenty of fresh veg and fruit and home prepared and cooked food. My indulgence is Red wine and real ale which I suspect has caused the reading.🤔
The location of the meetings is about 6 miles away so that will mean i get an extra bike ride in. :bicycle:
Time for another cuppa :cuppa:

Morning all :hello:

I will be in my workshop first thing making BSA fork seal tools, as I sold my last one yesterday. I usually make 3 at a time which takes me about an hour.
Got a chap coming over at lunchtime to pick up my AJS 350 which I've just sold.
Might cut the front lawns on my ride on mower later.

Morning.
A bit grey and a bit brezy but nothing like the gale force wind of yesterday. Unfortunately not the sun either.
I managed everything on my to do list yesterday so today is washing on, hang outside and a bike ride. Pretty nippy out there so back to the winter gear methinks.

As it looks like being a good drying day, the 1st load of washing is in the machine with a second load waiting to go in. I might wash my winter cycling jackets as well, they are looking a bit mucky and do whiff a bit.

Morning - looks cold out but its sunny and there is a lot of blue in the sky!

Another AgeUK client this morning

might try to get out for a ride after that

which will be strange - a few days ago I swapped to shorts and no jumper
Might have to go back to jeans and jumper again!!

My rides on weekend were bib shorts and short finger mitts. Today it'll be back on with bib tights and proper gloves.

I received an email from HMRC overnight.. Obviously, I won't include the whole lot but can anyone else spot the potential issue with the final paragraph?

The grammar is not right ie "find out how to GOV.UK" but at the same time it tells you not to click on any link.

I went back to bed and slept heavy. Had a weird, vivid dream. I was on holiday in a caravan. It was the last morning and we were rushing to pack. It was 12.10 and 2 cleaners and the site manager were there, urging us on. I was panicking and kept finding more clothes to pack and more dishes to wash. I said to the manager "your not supposed to be here till 1pm and he said no, the new guest arrive at 1pm.....you were supposed to be out by 11.00, we will bill you for the extra time.
Where on earth do these dreams come from?

No - dunno why as the seams are rather intrusive

basically - I always have - a teenage boy in the 1970s would not have been seen dead in anything else

although I just wore what my Mum bought me
my friend insisted on buying his own and got Levis or Wrangler
I just had what we called "x's " - i.e. no W sewn in yellow on the back pocket - just an X

basically I have never seen the point in things like fashion (sorry Accy!)

and i tend to just wear what I'm wearing - even if I change what I am doing
my wife has had to "educate" me into changing into appropriate things for different activities

(stop it you lot - giggling at the back is SO childish!!!!)

Apparently wearing your best jeans for gardening is not acceptable!

As a lad in the 50s i was not allowed to wear jeans.......they were seen by my parents as far too common!!
Once married I went with Wranglers and iirc stayed with them though I dont possess any now.
I wore 'appropriate' clothing for my many hobbies ie cycling, walking, golf, running and bird watching (where did I get the time from?).
