I've been out on the bike for a while, just got back and the rain has started.
I'm cooking a rolled loin of pork for dinner tonight with apple sauce and all the trimmings

I'm on a roast chicken dinner.... yummy.

Have you got a good chippy? I gave up on Warrington fish n chips ages ago. There is one that used to be very good (might still be) but its too far to go.

Terry's in Widnes are pretty good

but cant go there anymore as they have stopped doing Gluten Free

so I have to go to Whiston - takes about 15-20 minutes each way but they have a proper menu that I can eat
(and the food - not just the menu - before "someone" jumps in!!!)

I find the Aldi battered cod fillets are very nice and good value. One of them in the airfryer, some frozen/cooked chips with mushy peas....takes some beating.

VW Polo DSG hi-spec plus extras. Suits us fine as we don't do many miles per year.

We have friends who wonder why we don't have a much bigger car!
