Out of the blue my Doctor has prescribed Statins for me, no consultation or any problem flagged.
I see from the old thread that there are mixed feelings on it.
I have come this far without them and dont think I'll be rushing to take them

I was just put on them after I had an apparent stroke - which might not have been

it was just assumed - but the GP said it was worth it as a preventative as there could be problems that are not noticed unless they do a blood test for it
and if there is a problem then it could be very bad
so it to head off problems before they happen

I will be bringing it up when I get an appointment - which has to wait until after I see the dietician in a week or so

lets just say the list of "things to talk about" is getting quite big!

Tomatoes potted up, carpets cleaned, dog walked and a couple of programmes on the telly caught up with.
I'm going to cook up a mustard sauce with mushrooms to pour over the leftover pork loin joint we had on Sunday. Green beans, carrots and mash are the accompanying veg.
