Spent an hour, or so, this afternoon knocking up a burette stand so I can do cylinder head volumes again.
I lost my old stand somewhere along the way when we moved.
Just got to sort a clamp out for it now.

3 squirrels, 2 Lb spuds, carrots onions and spices. You must use paprika.
One other tip, dont put the tails in.

My dog would have been keen to help get them

she always protected me from marauding squirrels
and it worked - in the 12 years I had her I was never savaged by any squirrels at all!!!

not exactly sure how long it would take for her to get a pot load of the things - you would probably be best taking a snack along in case you got hungry

Morning. Another cold and windy day. It still feels like winter here apart from Tuesday which finally looks like a much warmer day.

Barnet,
Good morning all.
The wind and rain woke me up about 4am but it seems a bit calmer out there now.
Some domestics need doing today, the kitchen floor needs a wash and the washing machine is already doing its stuff with a dark wash.
I may get a short ride in this afternoon.

Good morning all. Our forecast has changed dramatically (big word at this time of the morning).....it is now showers AM but dry and sunny PM, still cool though.
No plans today but will get a walk in later.
As I've said, my house backs onto Peel Hall Park. Fairly big as I can get my 1 mile walk in without leaving the park.
I am a member of "friends of peel hall park". Its a very pro active group and over the last month have been working hard at things like litter picking, tree planting and getting local schools involved. I have been busy bagging 4,000 sunflower seeds which we give free via social hubs etc.
Today is a special effort...... the council have OKd us changing a disused paddock into a wild flower meadow. It will be scarified and 1000s of seeds sown.
I cant do much but will be there to cheer them on.
