Morning all, we are currently in enjoying a breakfast muffin and unlimited coffee in a nice Spoons in Widnes, £3.09 each, now I consider that extremely good value.

Hey Mr Screenman ..... it must be telepathy!!! Honestly, I was thinking about you yesterday.
Hope all is well with you both.
Widnes eh, be very careful as there are some very dodgy people there, no names no pack drill but one of the most dodgy rides an ebike.

Yes but if you are capable of using what3words then you'd be capable of say sending a Whatsapp message to a family member/friend with what3words written out which would solve issue of pronounciation as a backup.

I have heard people say that it is best if you spell the words out if possible
or text them
for that specific reason

Afternoon all . Been in the garden all morning doing a few jobs and making the most of the good weather before the next storm comes in for the weekend ( they are very annoying as they have been stopping me sailing for the last few weeks 😀) .
Just about finished and my daughter, who is having a break from her online accounting course comes out and says can I have a look at her bike as it not ‘ working well ‘. 😀.
OMG . What she really means was , it had no brakes , gears not working and the chain dry and rusted plus the mud guard is falling off . 😂 So two hours later , it has now has new brake blocks and the cables have been adjusted so at least it stops . The mud guard is reattached . The gears cleaned and adjusted and are now working, even if not perfectly and the chain has been cleaned and oiled. It probably needs a new chain but it wheither the bike itself is worth it is debatable.
She has two bikes , one is in good condition. The other is the one she uses to get about locally , for this use she buys the cheapest bike she can find that works second hand ( £50 to £80) and spends as little on it as she can or in some cases nothing as she uses up the spares I have in my sheds 😂 ie the new brake blocks . Uses it for 2 or three 3 year or until it doesn’t work at all, then gives it to the local bicycle recycler and the buys another one .
I sort of understand her logic, as I always had old bikes to ride to work on , but at least mine always worked properly even if they looked like s@@t.

A trip to Wimborne and a vist to the Model Village. It's a replica of the village as it was in the 1950's. Lots of things to do and a bit of a bargain at £10 for an annual pass ( it has a cafe)
In the model village is a large model of the model village which contains a model of the model village...

I did a bad thing

Last night I was going to bed a bit late and glanced at the clock - to realise it was Thursday and so it is Bin Day

so I put the bin out

but Monday was a Bank Holiday so I got it wrong
OK - no problem

Except that when I got up this morning most people at this end of the close have copied me and dome the same!!!!

except the bloke opposite - he is probably sniggering to himself as we speak!!!
