Fuel prices haven't gone up around here. They are the same as they were 2 years ago.
I still put £20.00s worth in just like I used to do.
The engine has some sort of problem though as I get far fewer miles from it than I used to

Ours is 155.7p for unleaded e10 - it was around 132p before the SoH shenanigans.

A lovely stroll along the trailway and along the banks of the Stour to the wibbly wobbly suspension bridge and then back along the far bank into Wimborne. Garmin watch clocked 10k as I wandered past Waitrose and on to the shops. Fortunate to have just missed my bus so took refuge in the pub with a pint of Old Peculier 🍺
Crossing over a short wooden bridge over a stream the I thought fed into the Stour, I noticed that the water was in fact flowing out of the river 🤔 Something to investigate later.

I used to live in Wimborne. I’ve crossed that bridge many times. Not been back since dad died seven years ago.

Coffee in bed, eggs on potato thins for brekkie, wander around the garden pointing at things and planning, second coffee sitting in the garden , train to Waterbeach and ride in to Cambridge to see old workmates at the shop(and get some sealant) ride back via Lodes Way/Wicken Fen ,chickpea pasta and later some red wine plus cheese and bics and watch some Jeeves and Wooster.
