Gorgeous here now. I had another little wander so have finished the week at 162,000 steps so around a 23,000 per day average. No doubt it will drop again when the rain returns but it’s still looking decent for a while yet.

Possibly because of the horror stories we read about.
I do mine online and I struggle to get past the security questions.
I mentioned this before but years ago there was/is a guy in my town who got the famous email from the Nigerian prince. He fell for it and lost every penny from his bank account.....iirc it was £35+K.

I have never heard any horror stories about mobile phone banking apps.

They are incredibly secure. Ditto Google Wallet.

Out of interest, what is that 4 number code. Just interested ^_^

I use the one that was the first pin I ever had

I did wonder why a big bank would send me a pin of 1234 but there you go!

(to be truthful - I know - I have in my career had several people ask me to "do something with my phone" or "I'm having trouble with my lock"
and the PIN has been 1234 - or something very similar!!!!)

I basically do no bank type stuff on anything that leave the house

contactless cards are a worry - I should really check out phone payments

Thanks for reminding me!

19 mile ride this morning, a bit chilly in shorts. It gave me the afternoon free to put in the French marigolds we bought in the week. We will need to bring them in over night as the evenings and mornings are still quite cool, under 40oF this morning. At least it was warmer, up to over 50 by the time I went out for a ride.

I'm with Virgin and every now and then, if I put eg a film on it asks for my pin. The pin is what Virgin gave me.....1234.

Every day is a school day.
On my park walks there are lots of people with dogs and where possible i chat and ask them about the breed and why they chose it.......I've never had a dog, know nothing about them and find it interesting. Just finished my walk, only 1.4 miles, and met a guy with a Bull Pug..... literally a cross between a bulldog and a pug.
Each to his own but why would breeders do such a cross ?
