Morning folks :okay: definitely out for a spin today and plenty of fine weather ahead ^_^ Everything in the garden is growing well and my Morello cherry tree has some flowers!

Good morning from an overcast Dorset. No hedgehog activity last night, just the usual cats patrolling and a vixen having a sniff around. Bin men have just been, they certainly get some steps in and our crew seen to jog at a fair pace between properties. That brought to mind " Dave the Dust " a member of our running club back in the 80's. Lovely guy, council bin man by day and accomplished long distance runner.

Kev.
We are going to build a hedgehog house.
With your experience can you recommend a size and shape etc.
Also, now you've used the camera for a while would you recommend the same or something difference.

2 things on today
firstly a visit to Runcorn for an AgeUK client

then SWMBO has a reflexology appointment in Prescot - and I am the designated taxi

somewhere in that I need to try to put this cheque in before I lose it!!!

weather looks very cloudy - first day for week where the solar panels are not supplying enough electrons for the house and having to allow some from the grid!!

Morning all :hello:

Big day for the pup today.
Taking her on the steam train to Blue Anchor. Hoping she doesn't get frightened by the locomotive.
Going to the Star for lunch.

Interesting, after reading about the Jacobite line in Scotland. Apparently they need to comply with new legislation about central locking on the carriages and that can`t be achieved unless there is a diesel unit supplying power at the rear. This makes it unviable. So just wondering about the steam train you are going on ? I guess in all the years that the Jacobite (Harry Potter) has been running on normal opening and closing of the doors there has`nt been an issue.

Edit Just a thought, but why don`t they use batteries that then can be recharged at either end of the route ? It would be better than using solar panels on the heritage carriages (TIC). There has to be ways around not usIng a diesel unit ?

Ride ridden. A mere 27 miles but with 2200ft so a few hills plus it was windy and said wind was pretty chilly!
Lovely morning though.
