Good morning all.
A sunny start to the day here.
It's haircut time again, it kind of creeps up on me, one day it looks ok, then the following it looks unkempt.
This evening we are off to the Palladium in London to see Aljzé and Janette from Strictly in their dance show.
Yesterday we went to the new Queen Elizabeth garden in Regents Park. It only open on Monday but was quite unimpressive. It should look much better next year when the plants are established.

I'm sure I've got an LP somewhere; I'll ask my friendly archivist to search the dusty shelves in the East wing of Manoir du Braconnier to try and locate it.

I knew my trusty Johnson would rise to the occasion. When he emerged, hot and sticky* from his mission, but triumphantly clutching this LP, I was so pleased, I let him take his tea break early so he could have a shower before he collapsed.
Then I remembered why I had consigned this awful record, with its twee sleeve notes, to the nether regions, unplayed for half a century.

I'm slightly concerned by a small phrase in this post................................ :laugh:

Good morning:sun::sun::sun:

Sunny Afternoon was excellent last night. The two leads playing Ray and Dave Davies really captured the characters as I remember them. I always understood how Ray's personal life influenced his writing but I not as much as it clearly did. We then went to eat at ego in Lytham, part of a chain I've heard of but never eaten in. It was very good and I would happily try another.

Today is housework and allotment. The man who built my new fence and gate did a fantastic job in one day. Pricey but an excellent result. It would have taken me a week and been nowhere close to this standard. I'm off to poke bits of electrical wire down a gas jet .........BOOM!
