Just come back from our tip. Two heavy garden bags and now by back is hurting. Boy the tip was busy at 9.15, glad to get out of it. Too small for the population.

I’ll be loading the boot with some garden waste in the morning…but we have a friendly goat farm with a pig field we can leave it all at 💪
The IOW weather has been exceptional the past few weeks….just lovely!

So got a nice new pair of Spoke smart black jeans (look unworn) for £14 (£100 new) at one of the Charity shops so well pleased with that; got wine plus cheese (reduced!) and biscuits for this evening from Waitrose.

Was very busy today as it was Eel day so lot's of festivities going on.

This afternoon was spent chilling again after a cheese salad sandwich with lettuce, mustard leaves and radish from the garden, then some planting of Cannas and other stuff.

I got some undies from a charity shop. Very good condition. OK, they are pink, frilly and have an open crotch but for 50p they are good value.

Good morning all. Sat up late (for me) watching a fillum, slept heavy and now trying to come round.
I've mentioned that I'm a member of a group, "friends of Peel Hall park" . Some idiots thought it was fun to smash bottles around the kids playground....glass everywhere. So at 11.00 I am with a group armed with brush and shovel going to clear it up. Could do without the rain but it has to be done.

Off to Wimborne via the Stour and might even walk back too. Sneakily, since yesterday, my friend who is currently in Inveran has overtaken me in the weekly steps challenge which starts afresh each week. There's 10 of us in the weekly challenge, scattered around the country. It's a fun thing, but Daughter in Edinburgh has a friend who is super competitive and has been known to head out at 10pm on a Sunday evening so she can pip her at the post 😁

Morning. A bit dismal at the moment with a fine drizzle. I’ve had a decent walk though. Out for two and a half hours covering 9 miles.

Barnet,
Good morning all.
The overnight rain didn't materialise, and my rain butt is now empty. There are dark clouds around so we may get some today.
I have just purchased a new Samsung Galaxy S25FE from John Lewis it will be delivered to my local Waitrose for collection tomorrow afternoon.
Fortunately my work pension is paid on Tuesday to help the bank balance out.
