Started young, and still going.
Location
Barnet,
Good morning all.
A cloudy day in prospect and quite a bit cooler than of late.
I've potted up some mor sunflowers, a different variety from the 1st lot.
Tonight we are going to the St. Albans arena for an evening with Sir Bradley of Wiggins, I'm looking forward to it.
MrsP has just had a message to say my new phone is at the store, so I will pedal across there shortly and get it. Then the fun will start setting it up.
Enjoy your day everyone. :cuppa:

I went to get some petrol in an unmanned petrol pump yesterday. I put my bank card in the machine and then couldn't remember my pin number. I tried twice and was declined twice so took my card out before it swallowed it and went to a chip and pin garage.
The problem is that I still can't remember my pin and I didn't write it down anywhere so I will go to my bank tomorrow and ask them to send me another one.
It is a good thing I can use it for up to £100 though.

I put my main PIN in my phone Contacts backwards. I use it so little I forget it on the rare occasion I need it.

I am all happy!

Just been to Boots to get something for SWMBO and ran into a lady that I used to work with

well - when I say lady - I mean one of the working class women who the whole place runs around and they make the damn place work whetehr it want to or no
basically the salt of the Earth and the sort of person that makes the country work

anyway - she was saying how the whole place is terrible nowadays - they have people coming in on supply for the day and leaving after an hour due to the kids behaviour

she also said that the computer and other such things are rubbish - internet is slow and often fails - and you have to put a ticket in and someone might come next Friday and look at it

and only a few days ago they used to have this bloke Mike (that's me - I was working incognito) and they would just shout me and I would come and fix it in a minute or so

Nice to be remembered - and it sound like I am well out of that place!

Well as Numbnuts didnt invite me to join him in going nowhere i decided on a quick dash to Aldi. I have decided to do a slow cooker chicken casserole and needed 'stuff' like Leeks and mushrooms.
Its a relatively easy meal, even Mo could do it ^_^.
Recipe is........
Brown the mushrooms, onions and peppers. Set them aside.
Dice the chicken and brown it.
Chuck it all in the slow cooker with whatever spices jump out at me plus salt and pepper.
Add a can of chopped tomatoes plus 2 or 3 oxo cubes dissolved for stock.
Stir it all up and slow cook for 6 hours.
NB
I always use a disposable liner as it saves a lot of washing up when emptied.

Once you get the new PIN you can change it, usually by inserting the card in the bank ATM. I think it has to be an ATM belonging to the issuing bank but not 100% sure on that. I use an obscure number sequence that has some meaning to me but wouldn't to anyone else.

It is quite spicy but I enjoy it. They do a nice beef chilli one too.

I like a curry but Jalfrezi is the hottest i can enjoy.
My SiL enjoys vindaloo...... Sue and i bought one years ago and one taste...it went in the bin.
A friend of mine only eats Pal or Phal. I have no idea how anyone eats that.
My neighbour/friend can only take Korma which is waaay to mild for me.
Strange the way our taste buds vary so much.

Disposable liners in slow cookers are an absolute godsend.
