Getting old but not past it

Right. I thought you meant last op on the same eye.
A friend of mine went private. He had full anaesthetic and both done at the same time.
I am with the consultant on Tuesday as I also need both eyes doing but the left eye is noticeably worse.

Your friend is a brave man to have both of them done at the same time . I wish him well.
Also, I have been told not to ride my bike for a week at least.

I migth have to have an eye done at some point- but not yet

I would be very dubious about it as my left eye is naff all use in most cases
I can see OK - but it is terribly out of focus and the sort of lens needed to fix it would be like thick bottle tops

so if the right one needed doing and went wrong I would be screwed!

Talking about eyes.......
Remember I said that I had double vision and the hospital put a prism lens on my glasses
well, Thursday week I noticed that when I took my glasses off the double vision was not too bad
and later on that day it had disappeared, so later on I removed the lens late evening.
In the morning, got up put my glasses on and then remembered no lens and then no double vision.
It was back to normal, I didn't say anythink to anybody just in case it came back again, well it's been
eight days now and eye slight still OK, still don't know what caused it, maybe inflammation of some sort
or just a miracle.
