Do you like the Proclaimers music? If so see if you can get the film Sunshine on Leith. Imo a great film.

We were up in Edinburgh a few years ago and watched the stage play / musical. A great evening, the whole audience joined in when they sang " Sunshine on Leith " 😎

Good morning from a sunny but chilly Dorset. Granddaughter sleepover last night and the book of choice was Roald Dahl " The Witches ". She liked when Bournemouth was mentioned in the book and we got into a discussion about Robert Louis Stevenson who lived in the next road to her. ( I'm a bit thick, it taking an age before the penny dropped that " Robert Louis Stevenson Avenue " might be related to the author having lived there 🤔)
Not a lot planned, just prepare breakfast ( hash browns veggie sausages, beans etc ) for granddaughter then probably head to the playground/ park.

Morning all :hello:

Made progress on the Wisp yesterday.
I got a spark and set the timing.
Good compression.
Carb was gummed up, but soon sorted with an hour in my ultrasonic cleaner.
I reckon it should run with some fresh fuel in it.
Just waiting on some new fuel pipe.
I hadn't realised that the Wisp was built using the Raleigh RSW16 frame; so, it's almost a bicycle.

Sun's streaming through the windows... ... Blimey, they really need a clean 😂

Ah, yes, don't you just hate Spring!! We've cleaned all ours over the last couple of weeks. I finished the last one, a Velux in the kitchen above the cooker, yesterday. The problem with this one is the frame and handle are sticky from oily residue that collects over the year. I'm tackling this with sugar soap this morning, it takes ages as I try to avoid dropping sugar soap solution all over the cooker.
