Havnt done much today . We nipped out for brunch at the local farm shop but both the roads and the shop were quiet for a bank holiday Monday. I think a lot of people were hiding from the heat as we have done when we got home .
Just been out to do some watering. Still saying over 30 degrees in the back garden that faces west and 26 degrees in the lounge .
Enjoy the continued good weather folks , looks like it will continue until the weekend.

Cooooeeee. Good god. What time is this?. I've been awake since 2am and decided to finally get up at 4.30. Its already 21 deg in my living room. Another horribly hot day for us.

Stay safe peeps :hello: :heat:

It looks to be breaking down by Thursday here and more rain due but I suspect it will still feel humid which is just as bad. I’m finding it hard to motivate myself to do much.

Barnet,
Good morning all from a hot Barnet. 26⁰ already, and due to get up to 34⁰. Tomorrow it should drop by around 10⁰ so be a bit cooler. I struggle in the heat :heat:
The fan/cooler is on full blast at the moment.
Sainsburys are delivering the weekly goodies which this week includes quite a few ice creams, Magnum double raspberry, Magnum classic and MrsP likes Soleros.
I've got some planting to do, but the ground is far too dry and baked at the moment. Everything will have to stay in the pots for the time being.
Stay cool if you can everyone. :cuppa:
