Good morning. 'Tis bright and sunny. We're forecast for 29⁰. We have #1 and #3SPs today. I have little doubt they will be hot and bothered. I have all the windows and doors closed, curtains drawn and it's 15⁰ indoors. That will do. Stone cottages are 😎

The allotment shed. Now therein lays a tale. It needed painting, Mrs P chose cobalt blue from the Zinsser brand. Excellent paint. Starting Sunday morning I have been painting sections that will be out of direct sun for 2 - 3 hours, the drying time is one hour. One tricky to reach section apart it's had two coats. We no longer have a garden shed but a bright, glossy, cobalt blue beach hut. It looks great. Mrs P has said nothing, not even "I like the colour." I've a funny feeling she hasn't noticed........

No rain forecast here till Monday. This is a BIG problem. I have discovered a MAJOR issue.......my 400 litre butt is empty. It's fed from the overflow of one of the 250 litre butts. The friggin' tap was left in the open position all winter. This is SERIOUS!!! I need rain. LOTS. My remaining stored water is down to about 350 litres.......🫨🫨🫨

My water butt has about 5 pints in it, it is only 210ltrs but I am thinking of buying there and linking them up.

Good morning, got the bike out yesterday, the first time in over a year ( falling over and breaking bones had dented my confidence somewhat) . It was great! Took the electric brommie but didn't use the battery so it was completely self powered. Weekly walking group this morning and then pottering about.

I've subscribed to TT Live so I don't miss any of it.
Wish I was there.

I remember my Dad saying he went to the TT a few times a very long time ago

He remembered seeing the helmet of one of the riders that had scratch marks on it where his head has "brushed" the rocks when taking a corner a bit tight on the mountain section when leaning over!!!

Morning.
Scorchio and then some. And we live on the coast! Have to say I'd hate to be in a city in this weather. I wouldn't want to live in a concrete jungle at the best of times but in this heat be unbearable. I appreciate though needs must for some.
Had a day of outside DIY yesterday, sanding down woodwork ready for staining so I'll be continuing today. Endeavouring to do in the shade as much as possible though.
Maybe some weights later if I feel up for it.

25° now. Ive had my coffee but no longer feel like walking to the coop so will go in the car.
I had a horrible feeling it wasnt taxed so had to check it. Some may not know but if you type in "is my car taxed" it opens the Gov web site. Insert your number and it tells you if its taxed, insured and MOTd. Very useful.
