On the subject of kiwi fruit we are on holiday at our son's home in Belgium and visited his local Aldi.
They were selling the same Zestri brand from NZ that we get in Oz.

Good morning all, the green bin lorry has just been down the road.
It's due to be another warm and sunny day.
More planting out to be done in the garden. The tomatoes need to go out,some of then have got flowers on, and the sunflowers need to go into the garden along with the wallflower plants for next year.

Good morning. Warm and beautiful start to the day. I have a hangover!! I went to the quiz last night and unusually had three pints of beer and we didn't leave till 11.30. Home and in bed by midnight, at least two hours late for me. Woke at 2.00am, sweating and feeling grim. I got back to sleep and finally woke at 6.00am feeling very dehydrated. I don't think it's the alcohol but more to do with the heat, general dehydration etc. I'm currently pouring fluids in.

I'm joining the club for what should be a relatively straight forward 55 miles. We will see. I'm running a bit late so rather than rush I'll ride towards the group on the published route. Catch you all later.

Another lovely one although without the extreme heat which to be honest is quite nice now.
Ride is the plan although I am feeling quite tired, I'll head out and see how it goes.

I had crab (to eat) at Cromer. 1st and possibly the last time. I really enjoyed it but the strong smell always puts me off.

I do particularly like fresh crab sandwiches made with thick wholemeal bread.
I get what you mean about the smell, but it doesn't affect me.

The same with fish.... I enjoy eg cod, mackerel, salmon but I cant eat fish pie, its just too fishy.

Cake baked, not had crab since I left Aussie,
we had blue swimmers and mud crabs they were massive in size, one claw would be a meal.
