Sunny here again and been up town for some thrifting and shopping mainly to get some Mutti tinned tomatoes on offer in Sainsbury's.

Missed out on some nice Trickers boots as they were too big but managed to nab a nice chore style jacket with tags for a tenner ; was marked as xs but fitted more like a medium.

Now in the cool indoors , may get a look at the Stayer AR as it's picked up a flat from the last ride it had.

I went to town to put the prescriptions in. We got some bread and ham while we were there so sandwiches it is.

Just been back out for a little wander too. 18 here but humid.

Phew, it's hot here, 28⁰C but it is that last day of this heat.
I cycled up to the Market this morning for a few bits and pieces.
I've got quiche for tea and some fresh salad to go with it.

That one with a couple in bed and talking about their new mattress

how they had put aside £1000 for a new one
but got this wonderful one for only £399

so now they have the rest available to put aside for
oh - I don;t know - maybe a simple but classic diamond solitaire engagement ring

anyway - I was thinking

£600 for a "simple but classic etc etc"

Bloody Hell - that's a cheap one

and that couple do not look like they (she) would settle for an engagement ring that cheap!!!

Gone much cooler now and overcast. I spent the afternoon having a doze listening to rugby whilst sitting in deckchair in the sun.
Now a coolish 18C with forecast for next week back to normal, ie rain.

Just noticed it has rained abit so brought the outside cushions in

It had actually JUST rained around the place where the outside seats are

rest of the patio was dry except for where the chairs are - with the cushions on!!!

No rain here today or forecast for tomorrow. But, Monday onwards there maybe rain and thunder storms all week.

Hmm - I was going to suggest that we go to the café boat together tomorrow

Especially after the granddaughter snitched on me the other day and told my wife that the café boat people know my name!!!
