Quite a busy morning. I headed up to Broadstone to visit the Library and scan my passport as a certified copy is required for my daughters passport application. Passed Mrs Tkk coming down the hill from her Pilates class. Thinking I might need cash to pay for the scan I popped into bread / cake shop to break a tenner. I was very good and purchased a cheese salad roll, ignoring the trays of cakes. Wandered up the lane to the Library and had forgotten they were closed on Thursdays 😟. Popped into the pharmacy ( family run, lovely people who offer lots of extra services at a very fair price ) I asked if they offered a certification process and they said they hadn't thought of it. I told them that the Doctors surgery offered it at a cost of £35 for the signature but I'd much rather give them some money. Showed them the wording required and they said, we can do that, we'll do it for nothing. 😎. Wishing to strike while the iron was hot I decided to catch the bus into Poole. The bus stop is directly outside the bread shop so I popped in and got myself an Eccles cake to sustain me on my journey😉.
Visited the photo printers we use and got a colour scan and print for £5 then back on the bus and into the Pharmacy. All witnessed by the pharmacist who refused any payment so I popped into M+S and bought a big tin of Posh Belgian biscuits and dropped them off back at the Pharmacy with my heartfelt thanks.
Document scanned and emailed to daughter for forwarding to the Irish passport office, 9 months and counting since her Passport application, fingers crossed her passport will be with her soon🤞
