Watched the P3 and qualifying for tomorrow's F1

then went for a ride

VERY strong wind on the way out - which I why I went that way

Then clearly a wonderful tail wind all the way home

Well - not exactly - 8 miles out into a strong headwind and at least 200 yards back home with a tail wind and the rest with a strongish headwind

How does that work???

I was having toast, marmite no butter, or unsweetened mussels for brek but kept hitting plateaus. Dropped brekky as a test and bang, it starts coming off consistently. Once I've hit my 220 target I may reintroduce brekky and if I maintain weight ill keep at it.
I like mine with brown sugar, gently cooked under the grill until the sugar forms a crunchy topping.............or is that creme brule?

Diet.

No breakfast.

Very light lunch. Scotch egg or pot noodle or sandwich (two slices bread) and a bag of low fat crisps.

Sensible portions for dinner, no overtly greasy food such as chippy chips. Mrs D has also ceased her habit of only eating half of hers and offering it to me.

Protein shakes and kept the exercise going, as with rapid weight loss muscle mass can also erode.

We only keep the bare minimum in the house, no biscuits, cakes, etc, so snacking is eliminated- I can't eat what isn't there!

Im allowed a handful of peanuts occasionally if the cravings get a bit much, although after 4 months and 3+ stones my body seems to have re-educated itself and Im not getting the cravings much at all.

If we go out and stop at a coffee shop Ill have a slice of cake, but then ill either skip lunch entirely (if its a morning visit) or have only soup for tea (if its an afternoon visit.)

Now im well into it and I've seen significant results I've become even more disciplined, its given me the motivation to knuckle down.

And once a week im allowed a treat. Im a Revells addition, so its usually a bag of Revells on a Friday.

And its worked. Im looking and feeling pretty good and were saving a significant amount onnthe shopping bill because were not buying much crap. And most importantly im feeling really good.

And if youre asking how I did the Achilles, I did it by running while weighing 280lbs. Heart and lungs were managing it fine, but the joints and connective tissues werent.

That’s great work! Well done!
I get frequently scuppered by evenings like tonight, with 3 (or was it 4m🫣) pints of Abbots with a big pizza & good company 😜
Still….some pizza saved for brunch 🤣👍

I think we should find out where this is and have arrange an RT CC jolly!! 😋
Good idea, unless it’s in Northampton . My daughter did her degree and her masters there and did the student thing of living off takeaways. 😀
Her view was the only good chips she found were on campus. 😂

( when she was in a shared house doing her masters , I dropped off a old bike for her to use . It must have taken me 15 mins to fight my way into the yard though the discarded pizza boxes 😂😂 I reckon that’s all the 6 of them were eating 😂😂😂)
