Shopping was done ,2nd coffee and lunch consumed and a few garden jobs ticked off ;also saw that the Ariseama had popped up, we thought it might have got lost when we put up the trellis in March. It has a second and bigger 'spike" coming up so will mark it's position properly as it is late in coming up.
Did a little experiment on the Faran, used some twine to wrap over the end tape on the bars and a couple of cable guides after seeing it done on a bike from the Woods Cyclery; have used the cheapo garden twine we have so not expecting it to last for ages but if it holds up I'll get some better quality stuff.

Well I've nicked it as well so fill your boots; get some decent quality twine though, the cheapo stuff I used kept unravelling at the ends when I poked it through the cable guides.

There I am ambling home after today's ride. A random cyclist pulls alongside "I do like a bright light, yours is great." We chat for a couple of miles. Well, nice to get a compliment.....................but not a mention of my beautiful Cervelo! 😪😪😪
