Managed to get out early(-ish) and was pretty cool and overcast for a large portion of the ride,.


Only really got warm after I'd done about 85k so took the decision to do an extra loop and bring up the 100; slightly mis-judged it so had to do a little circuit back in Ely.

Was a car rally stage type event on around the Suffolk lanes so got some pics of 'proper' cars while having a short piss and drink break.

Was also a 70's Datsun ,a Triumph TR and an MGB .

That's good. My wife was 19 and I was 21 when we agreed we wanted a baby. Never looked back.

Tried out my new hosepipe and gave Mrs D's car a clean. Very nice.

Afternoon.
Spent the day firstly assembling then using scaffolding to access windows etc rub down and treat woodwork.
Glorious day for it and a decent view from up top!

A couple of friends of mine were on the London Brighton ride today..
I've ridden that loads of times, sometimes there & back; 105 miles.
Once,... Northampton > London on Saturday London > Brighton on Sunday; Brighton > Northampton in Monday

Good evening from the M5. Happy Father's Day, looks like there have been some good ones. I have two bottles of malt, a bottle of red and four Toblerone. Big ones! My sons know me too well. Best of the day?? The hug #2 gave me when we arrived at her house. Wonderful and heartfelt.

We're enroute to Weymouth. Mrs P is driving. Phew! I hear you all. We have an AirBnB till Saturday morning then we will wing it for a few days until we're ready to go home.
