Can somebody explain what qualifications or experience do you need to be a Prime Minister?
Judging by the number of ex-prime ministers in the last 10 years, anyone who is an expert at telling lies and good at talking their way out of it can apply for the job.
I have offened wondered how you can be in say an MP for education and then in charge of another department the next.

Done walking took me 5 minutes longer in this heat, it's 36c here at the moment

Cancelled visit to Mini D #1 on Thursday. Won't be fair on the dogs.

Kitchen floor is levelled and now waiting for it to dry which should not take long in this heat.
I can't put anything back till the lino is down on Wednesday though so it is a bit of a mess in the living room at the moment with the washing machine, fridge freezer and electric cooker in there now.
I think it will be a take away tonight and luckily, we are going out tomorrow night so it works out OK.

An odd thing about living on a boat is that whilst you're doing chores reading or anything really, if a boat goes by the occupants feel compelled to wave at you for some reason. Maybe when I'm cycling I shall wave at anyone looking out a window of a house shop perhaps.

Oh Mo in the drizzel, it's just topped out at 37c here, two fans on and still sweating

Very roughly, where do you live? You always seem to have nice weather!
