The Media are getting in a right tizz about the hot weather - the country is awash with melodrama these days.

Don't recall the same scale of hyperbole in '76.

I think they panic if they can’t find things to try and worry Joe Public these days!

Managed to get a quick turbo ride in this morning, just a Ineos cafe ride 'workout' as I don't really like just bumbling about any more on Zwift and am finding the endurance workouts in particular are helping when out on long rides.



Then after some brekkie popped up the bakery for croissants and then the Co-Op for some wine for tonight.

Shade netting popped up over some plants and some watering done and now sitting in the front of the house with a cool breeze wafting through the window.

Patches for the holed tubes should be here later so may do that at some point otherwise another day of not doing much.

Mid teen's here again at the moment supposed to get up to the high teen's later, going to spend the day getting the van ready again, someone rear ended in France back in April got it fixed and it was returned last week, so I set of on Sunday only to get about 30 miles down the road when the power steering decided it didn't want to play. Got it back yesterday so going to travel up the Spey valley and the along Deeside before heading to the daughters for some dog sitting.

but I'm not moaning in a few months time we'll all be saying bloody cold out there.

32 heading for 35 here at the moment. Went the long way round to collect prescription and return my Library book, then pooped in to M+S. It was blissfully cool as I ambled around getting a few bits and bobs. I'm tempted to go back and take a camp chair and a packet of sandwiches..

Wow you are early. I would have been as well to get up then too. Crap night’s sleep even although I took the fan through to the bedroom. I won’t be sorry to see this weather cool down several degrees.
