A early morning walk to meet a friend. Went to a small independent café in Upton for coffee and cake. About 10k in total, but my Garmin is on its last legs, wonder if Mo could send me one of her watches, I have heard that Rolex make a decent watch, and of course gold would avoid any potential skin allergies 😁

If you do need a new one I recommend looking at the Xiaomi Smart Band Pro 10. +/- £70. I have the Pro 9. It gives me everything I need and has a great battery life of 15 - 17 days depending on how much GPS recording I use. My only crouch is distance is recorded in metric with no imperial option. Strava corrects this.

Temperature has dropped to a balmy 34 , it was 30 degrees in the bedroom last night, no wonder I struggled to sleep. I lay on top of the bed clad in just a pair of pants as my jim jams felt oppressive.
Just experimenting making my own iced coffee, a triple strength espresso mixed with oat milk and put in the fridge In a reused aluminium " Jimmys Coffee " container.

What a lazy day apart from my early walk but it’s not worth trying to do anything when it’s so warm. I would just end up with a headache and feeling bad. Not too bad at the moment sitting here with shorts/vest pjs and the fan pointed at me.

Had my tea early.About 8 rashers of streaky bacon and a couple of fried eggs. Have to say the Co-op’s streaky bacon is quite good, and not too salty.
Normal telly is crap so just catching up some of my YouTube channels.
