A bit of a expensive day out today.
I had to taken evasive action to miss an animal in the road and hit the nearside front wheel on the kerb. Blew the tyre and put a big dent in the alloy wheel.
Just ordered a pattern 10 spoke ford wheel for £133. A genuine Ford wheel is £350. Plus a new tyre when it arrives.

Getting ready to drive down to Stansted airport tomorrow afternoon for the night. Flying with Raynair Wednesday lunch time to Tours where my brother will pick me up to drive down to his house .
I will be away until the 8th.
I will miss Molly but, thanks to technology, I will be able to see her on WhatsApp.

Make sure you have your tickets printed or downloaded before you get to checkin.
Ryanair charge a lot if you haven't.

Ryanair don't accept printed tickets anymore, it has to be downloaded on the ap, which I have done for the two flights .

Good afternoon. Mrs Tkk asked me to close the Patio doors as she was feeling a bit chilly. I checked the thermometer and it was 23 degrees in the lounge 🤔. Blood test tomorrow, then granddaughters school fashion show, she tells me that she did a tie-dyed T shirt at school last week so I'm expecting she'll be wearing that.

It's OK

you can stop worrying

I'm Back!!!

Only 3 major incident

a few days in I fell in a peat bog up to my knees and got soaked in mud

On St Kilda I wetn for anotehr walk, slipped on a mossy stone and twisted my knee - could hardly walk for a few days

and a few days before we came back I went for another walk and lost my phone
Went back to check but no sign of it anywhere!!!

anyway
weather was wet - rain every day
cloudy most of the time every day
windy a lot of the time - which a problem on a boat!

at the boat skipper spent a lot of time dodging around serious storms and did a great job of it
mostly!

and temperature was below average for this time of year

didn't take any shorts and certainly did not need them!!!

so it is rather a puzzle why the grass here is all rather brown!!!
