Good morning all. A sunny start to the day here.
My new wheel for the car arrived yesterday, so this morning I am off to the tyre place to get a new tyre to replace the one that was trashed on Monday. The pressure sensor will have to swapped over from the old wheel as well.
I have a meeting of the Escape committee this afternoon at the Railway Bell 🚂🔔
and being a Friday I'll get a takeaway curry on the way home.

Things didn't go quite to plan. I have to get a TPMS valve to go with the new wheel. They can swap the censor over but the valve will break when they remove it ftom the damaged wheel.
I have ordered the part.

Think it was announced a least a year ago . The games are short of money .
I do think I read somewhere that there will be a highlight package on channel 5 .

Good evening. It started off as a rather cool and grey day but by lunch was sunny and pleasantly warm. I've done a lot of allotmenting following our week away.Two beds still need weeding and the tomatoes tieing in. It's been a productive day. Once that was done I nipped to the gym and called into Booths. I needed White's Oats, the best a man can get.............while in Booths I was looking for alcohol free cider. Sainsbury's do a very 0.5% cider but I was nowhere near. Booths have a selection, I bought four to test the different brands. Thistly Cross Scottish Elderflower Cider. I've checked the ingredients, no apples. Cider? What comes up from Zumerset. No apples. Lets just say I didn't finish it.
Three weeks now of a persistent noise in my ears. Driving me around the bend. It's a sort of "ungh" followed by a semi-scream, and some clapping. It goes round and round and bloody round from about 2.00pm to 10.00pm. When my wife goes out it seems to stop. Tennis! Tennis with the telly on constantly for about eight hours a day. Jeeez. And it's the female players. Why do they have to grunt, scream and shout with every shot????
