Not sure about this morning.
1st, I'm just enjoying my coffee.
I must prep my chicken stew and get it going in the slow cooker.
I must be at the hairdresser for 11.00
But I could do with a stroll before it gets hot (when I say stroll i mean 200 yards if im lucky........which is 200 more than I could do last week).

Well 1st part of mission has been accomplished......I've been for a walk. I got a lot further than expected. I used my wheeled stroller but felt I could have done it unaided though I didnt chance it, maybe that's for tomorrow.

Good morning all.
This morning I am taking the car to the tyre place with the new wheel, new valve and get them to do the swap, put a new tyre on, and then fix the rear tyre with the screw in it. Then get the tracking checked and adjusted as necessary.
Then,
Phone the builder we use to try and get him to come round to see what he says about the ceiling in the bedroom..
That should keep me busy for a while.

Up at 5:00 this morning so nice and cool ,had coffee then did some watering.

Breakfast of scrambled eggs on soda bread and will have another coffee in a bit, probably after nipping up the bakery for some of their milk rolls.

Rest of the day will get the bike prepped and stuff charged for tomorrows Audax.

Coooeee. 16 deg at the moment. Today is going to be the hottest day here at 31 deg so scorchio. I hate this weather.

I had a long lie in as I was really tired. The lack of sleep has caught up with me.

Good morning from a toasty Dorset. Off to Weymouth this morning for a meal and a visit to a couple of pubs. I usually walk to the station along the Holes Bay shoreline but the weather might make that too challenging 🤔
Sister and partner arrive in Bournemouth on Monday, first time she's visited and I'm looking forward to catching up.

You know how Dirk often relies on me for advice ? Well I am also somewhat of a building expert and can help you out here.
Believe me, you dont need a builder. Buy a roll of woodchip wallpaper, some strong paste and slap that on.
Bit of white paint or even better, dark blue to take peoples eye off it.
Ask Dirk, he will tell you, you can trust me.

Q day for me. Back still acting up. The dogs dont really pull - Bruce is really mild mannered and young Geddy follows his example - but the slight pull they do manage is enough to set it off. I've ordered a belt to clip their leads to, do everything I can to protect my back. My concern is that I've dome some proper damage to a disc or suchlike, so if no improvement soon it'll be the docs for me.
