That's my take on it, too..
A MRI sounds kinda clunky..

Edited my post to add that the M is pronounced "em" and so it's AN in the same way as AN eye.

Oh, I love English language. In this case it is how it sounds when spoken, so it's AN. Often the easy way to work it out is to say the phrase to oneself and understand how it would sound to a listener.

You can apply this across many articles in our language. The sound is often the rule.

The M is pronounced "em" hence AN.

The same can be said when pronouncing an H. Some people say Haytch, when it should be Aitch.

RIght - we have got rid of the grandkids my wife's sone has come to pick up the darling grandchildren

We did go for a walk through "The Deep Dark Wood" - know to locals as Spike Island
it has trees so is shaded if you choose the right route

There is also a rustic swing there hanging from a tree

Actually it is sometimes there - we looked but it was not there

I reckon it exists in another dimension and sometime can be accessed from this one and sometime can't

I explained to the 14 year old that this how religions work
you find something like that sometimes exist/happens and sometimes doesn;t
then you invent a God that controls it
Then you say the God makes it happen/appear only if you are good

Then you make yourself the priest of the God and tell everyone that whether or not you are good is based on "what the God tells you is good"

Then you live in a big house and get everyone to give you money/food/women (assuming the priest is a man - because....)

which I think is about right

EXCEPT for the True Religion - obviously

Well yesterday was spent mostly riding around East Cambs,Essex and Suffolk on a 150 Audax brevet populaire ;nice cool but light headwind kept the temps down but got increasingly hot on the way back especially when we got to the Blue Egg control, but we got it done after a few more stops here and there.

Getting to it was a bit of a rush as realised at the last minute that a lot of trains were cancelled so ended up just grabbing some stuff and rushing down to the station to catch an earlier train than intended, was a similar scenario at the end as we couldn't hang around at the HQ as trains were still in a mess so hacked it to Cambridge and managed to get a train around 9:20 so a pretty long day.

Wine and snacks went down nicely when I eventually got home.

Full ride report with more pics will obv be up today at some point.

Today is much cooler and have had a big-fish breakfast and coffee but won't be doing much today apart from maybe sorting some bike stuff out.
