I assume that when its completed one lawn you have to move it to the next one ie it won't go down the path to get to it ?

No. Using the app, you guide to the other lawn(s), thereafter, it makes its own way to each lawn. If it rains part way through doing the job, mower goes back to charging station, and, will resume from point it stopped, when instructed. Similarly, if it runs out of battery part way through, it returns itself to charging point, recharges, then, resumes

Yes, I have considered one in the past, out of laziness if I am honest, but, at that time, mowers guided by hidden wires in the ground were the "state of the art". This was not viable for me, I would have had to had three mowers, or, manually move the mower from lawn to lawn. More recently, I looked again, because my caring duties are putting pressure on my time, and, releasing the time spent mowing lawns seemed a good idea. My first thought was to pay someone to do it, but, then after a quick check of currently available robot mowers, and their capabilities, I decided that a robot would probably break even within a 18-24 months. That, and, a tendency to like a bit of technology, made me decide to buy a Robot Mower. So far (3 months in) I am impressed by it.

I just don't get it, it's hot and some have their oven on for hours doing braised dishes, it takes me all my time and it's much cooler here to fire up the gas barbie and grill something to throw over some salad.

This was braised beef we had done a few weeks ago. We froze it, defrosted it and heated it up in the outside kitchen we have set up. Nothing done in the kitchen in the house. We are not stupid lol

And so you should be!

I've one of each, and im now studying for another Honours degree in a different field. Despite the Internet and modern access to information etc its really making me sweat for it. Despite what the likes of the Daily Mail might say its a lot bloody harder now than 3 decades ago.

Or six decades in my case!
The knowledge body has increased exponentially over that time.
