Has to be brown on bacon, red should be a criminal offence punished by public flogging.

I swing both ways depending on my mood.
Red or brown on sausages or bacon.🤔

I have never been a sauce person, I only like it now and again
the last time I bought some I put it in the cupboard and
found it two years later out of date still unopened !!!
Bloody hot out, I put the black bag out and the heat just hit me
it's now 35c, think I'll sit in front of the fan for the rest of the day.

I don’t bother with sauces either. I prefer to taste my food without it being covered in sugary gloop.

I took a run along to my old village to visit one of dad’s neighbours. They were good to dad and I like to keep in touch. They have a lovely yellow Labrador that I like to see too. That’ll keep the battery in the car topped up.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I am having to be a bit stingy with our water. We haven't had rain for quite a while ( yes I know, Wales? No rain? ) considering we have 5 1000 litre tanks, we have a lot of fruit trees that need water and we bought 11 new fruit trees as well that also need water to help the roots establish.

Mr WD cooked chicken outside. We will have sandwiches later i think

Just been reading a few articles about end-of-year collection for teachers

one said the average has reached £500!!

WHAT??

I got a botu 2 small present in 15 years in schools
OK most was in secondary school
but it never made sense that a Primary teacher needs a collection
but once they get to be teenagers - with all that entails - then the teachers will be just fine

and when I was in a Primary - the teachers did get a few presents - but the school catchment area was "not well off" so it would be a few small boxes of chocolates and maybe a bottle of wine if they were lucky

I got a pair of socks once but that was for doing a lot of things that her Dad had worked like mad for before he died
and I got it all working and made it what he had dreamed of

seems like madness to me

Ride done.
A mere 28 miles but with 2400ft climbing in this heat so that was enough.
Nice though but very hot

There was a knock on the door before

Bloke next door was cleaning his caravan and noticed that someone has allowed their dog to do a massive dump on our lawn
AND on our drive

I cleared it up but

Honestly??

How disgusting.
Where we lived before this someone up the close had a dog that did a dump on our neighbours garden. She shovelled it up, walked up the close and knocked on the door. When the person opened the door she said "this is yours and dumped it on her drive". Wonderful.
