Next door have a group of friends partying out the back. It’s pretty raucous so hoping they finish up before too much longer.

It’s not something they do often so I don’t mind too much but I’m starting to feel ready for bed.

When next door had a shed load of teenagers I always thought i dont mind the parties IF they had the courtesy to tell me eg we are having a party and it will go on till ie midnight but its the not knowing that winds you up.

A decent sleep has been slept. I was asleep by 21.30 so didnt watch the footy.
Just had my coffee and kitkat plus a mug of cold milk and going out for a stroll soon.

After a short walk with the dog I'll be out and about on the for a couple of hours

Morning. I was still up early even although I didn't get much sleep.

Out the door at 5am for a 9 mile walk. Quite cool start to the day for us.

No doubt the afternoon will be spent watching the cycling.

I'm off to church soon, I'll have to get dressed for that.

Not much on today, apart from doggie walking and meeting up with our mates for lunch.

What a beautiful morning it has turned out to be.
A couple of photos from this morning's 2.6 mile walk

This is the pub I got to for the lunch time meal and cabaret. We alternate between this and the one I posted yesterday.

This was all green belt until Linden homes got the OK to build 1200 houses.....no brown envelopes there then.
But look how close to the motorway they are . 07.30 Sunday morning and the traffic noise is horrendous...... each to his own but that would be my worst nightmare.

You tune it out after a while. My dad used to live in a bungalow which was right next to the Birmingham cross-city railway line. We didn’t notice the trains at all, except on some Sundays when they diverted the mainline trafffic for engineering work

Did he choose to live there AFTER railway was built?
Did he actually pay to live there?
The motorway noise is constant. Its the M62. The noise will be 24/7.
