Day has half gone now.
I was up at 05.20.

I was awake then but managed to doze off again. I’ll gladly take an hour or so when I can.

A pleasant day here. Quite cool at the moment so I’d better get out after my browse and coffee.

Good morning from a slightly overcast Poole. Spent a while cleaning the downstairs blinds and then the windows both in and out yesterday then went for a walk with Mrs Tkk and somehow ended up in the pub🍺 . We have a Spoons at one end of the parade and a bar at the other, both are very popular and each have their own character ( and characters). We left just before the karaoke was due to start though it seemed popular as people were waiting to swoop on our table. Nothing planned for today, might walk up to Wimborne. Have a peaceful day folks

Morning all :hello:

Got to go to the vets in Minehead, after lunch, for the pup's post op check.
I got the Puch running again yesterday but it has a niggely carburettor problem that I just can't seem to cure. Anyway, I've ordered a new carb for it, as they are dirt cheap.

Thought I had posted this yesterday, but hadn’t . Morning all and here is my second attempt lol.

Well I uncovered my boat this morning then looked at the trees thrashing about and left the boat where it was 😀.
Eight sailors ( including Mrs exlaser ) decided to take to the water, that number was reduced to 3 ( not including Mrs exlaser) with in half an hour of the race starting .
At least the spectating and the wine was good.

Morning.
Spent day yesterday up a ladder trying to find/sort where water is getting in at front room in extention. Obviously not recently as it's been Death Valley conditions for over a month but in the winter when we get a southerly gale there's water getting in above window.
Anyway, remedial work ongoing.

As for TdF, been a brilliant one. Zero jeopardy for GC winner as it was always Pogacar and after Jonas went out it was sealed.
However, so many great stages and yesterdays finale was fantastic. I reckon MvDP win and manner of it was a rival to how Pogacar took Alpe D'Huez for drama.

Just superb.

3 in 1 is your friend Dirk, that and a roll of duct tape.
Again, no need to thank me.

Up a bit later today at around 6:30 as we had a relatively late night with some beers and watching some YouTube and the neighbours afternoon party was still going on.

Some beers;

Have had the Muesli/granola mix breakfast (run out of bananas at the moment ) and a coffee, done the washing up and helped the BH put the washing out.

Rest of today will be going in to the village for a bit of thrifting and then to Tesco followed by another coffee when we get back, will finish the fettling I did yesterday and some more bill paying later.

Oh and it's sunny but also breezy here at the moment.

I loved it too. I always feel a sense of sadness once it's all over. Sadly athletes seem to be dropping out of the Commonwealth Games left right and centre. Maybe it's time they just did away with it?

Yeah Commonwealth Games of little interest to be honest. It was always the poor relation to Olympics but now it's rapidly receding.
