It was one of those far rubber bands! Even so, the undercarriage is often in the landing position.

I will never pick up a dropped rubber band again,the postie will have to do it.

In all seriousness, when I did mont ventoux back in 2012 . I was suffering like a dog just before Chalet Reynard and I had to dig very deep to stop being overtaken by a man on a mountain bike wearing a mankini .

I am now wondering now if it was @Drago ? 😀

14° here with showers which are due to cease around 11ish.......I will hold my walk off till then.
We (as in my daughter and SiL) are having an outdoor tea party/buffet thing later. In short, they have sold thier house and the money is in the bank so they are celebrating. Mainly family and just a few other friends, should be good although as ive got older I get even less pleasure from large groups than when younger and tbh I have always tried to avoid them.
