Got to go out AM to the tile shop, got to phone Lloyds bank as theyve effed up my access to the parish bank account and ai cant authorise the Clerk's pay. What a palaver.

Morning all

Got to take the CRV in for its MOT this morning.
MrsD will follow along in her C3 Picasso with the dog and then we'll go to Minehead to fill up with diesel using her Tesco vouchers.
Dog will be walked on the beach and then we'll drop into the Kildare Lodge for a swift half and pick up another sticker on the Somerset CAMRA trail.
Back home for a siesta later.

My little Aygo is going in on Friday. I am going to be forced into cleaning it as it would be embarrassing to put it in the way it's looking!

Did my hilly willy walk this morning. I really must start doing it much more often as it's good for the quads with the amount of climbing. My legs are weak enough with all the nerve damage so must concentrate on keeping them stronger.

I once had a friend who was a heavy smoker, and the interior of his car was rancid. Fag ash all over. It was such a state that one year the MOT testers refused to test it.

Good morning from another sunny day in Dorset ( I was up an about before 5:00 but didn't want to post and steal Mo's thunder 😉
Daughter and grandson head back to Leeds today, it's been great having them but staying up late and drinking whisky has taken its toll so...diet starts tomorrow 😁
Route back to Leeds will be a bit convoluted due to the road through the New Forest being closed for the foreseeable future, Bristol might be an alternative but her car has live traffic data so that should ( hopefully ) help.
Today's partial eclipse reminded me of a story about Concorde that I recently read, really interesting stuff :
