Good morning. Grey, cool and possible rain. OK. Maybe 100 splash spots on the kitchen Velux so far............I could pee out the bedroom window with greater effect!

Those of you who pay attention may recall I was left in charge of nine small, living things this weekend. A variety of coverings including fur, feathers, skin and clothes. I've done a head count:

✅️ Cats ×3
✅️ Guinea pigs x 2
❌️ Hens x 2 **
❓️ #1SP and #3SP - don't arrive till 6.00pm

** it appears someone left the gate open while collecting eggs.........I've no idea who 🤔🤔

Good breakfast of scrambled fresh eggs and bacon........

I'm watching the Euros marathon. I appreciate thier abilities but its difficult to enjoy it for 3 hours

I enjoyed it. I noticed the woman who finished second had obviously had some bowel distress!

Good bronze for GB though that I wasn’t really expecting.

Not much choice when you’re in a medal position. Have to admit running does seem to shake my insides up enough to have to find somewhere to stop! One advantage of early mornings.

I've brushed and mopped the kitchen floor. This was essential. Coffee and toast before I tackle the ironing.

#1 is coming at 6.00pm. They come in the kitchen back door. She has been known to announce "you need to brush up Granddad. Can I have the broom?" This will later be followed by a request for the mop.....

When i used to run, mainly 8 milers and the odd half marathon i dont recall needing a pee stop, even less a No 2 .

A shart. Yes, it's a term. One I learnt this week. I follow a young female triathlete and cyclist. She mentioned a shart, I had to Google.

There is a physiological cause amongst extreme athletes.
