Back from our pub visit and I am truly miffed....yes truly miffed is what I am.
It is normally just me with my neighbour (plus 80 others) but this week my Bro had come from the Wirral.
As part of the package you get a meal plus 2 games of bingo. A raffle is £1.00 optional extra.
During the singers break we had bingo plus raffle.
Raffle 1st and who should wi £20 but my Bro on his 1st visit.
Next the bingo which my neighbour won.... £10.
Me ? I won diddly squat.
Hence my being miffed

Well - they say God smiles on the rightous!

Think I've found out how Lager is made.
There are the urinals at the brewery I visited today. Just a case of recycling it..

actually the worst part of pubs doing that, even though there is a reason why toilets are made of porcelain, is those will have been some small breweries casks or kegs theyve just cut up instead of returning as theyre supposed to, funnily enough they never attempt on it on the big breweries because they know theyd get into deep trouble.

but because the smaller breweries ones end up often in big pool distribution system, and get shipped all around the country, the brewery never really knows where they end up, they just note the things never return. And they cost almost about the same as a full cask of beer is sold for thesedays to replace.

Morning. Only around 9 degrees here with a breeze. First morning I’ve woken up feeling slightly chilly. Mind you, all the windows are open so not surprising.

Coooeeee. 13 deg here. We had some rain last night and more a few minutes ago. Slow and steady is better than a downpour as it soaks into the ground rather than just running off. We are expecting thunderstorms today.

13° and wet here. Overnight thunder storms were promised but if we had them I slept right through them.
Bedding to wash today and cleaner is due mid day.
That's about as exiting as its going to get.

Good morning all.we have some thundery showers forecast for late morning and through the afternoon.
Today we are on Grandparenting duties.
Our Son in law is now back at work after his paternal leave and leave that he took has finished. So we are going up to our Daughter's place later on to help out and do whatever needs doing.

Good morning from a sunny Dorset. Moved back into our bedroom last night now the decorating is done. Moving the furniture back in I removed the drawers from my bedside unit and found 5 pairs of prescription glasses, including a pair of prescription Oakleys from when I was much younger 😎
They will be going to the local opticians recycle box. The four almost empty tubes of Ibuprofen Gel went in the bin 😁
