What's with all this Harry and Meghan news! Thought they left because they wanted to be out of the limelight. They seem to court it at every opportunity.

Don't know if it was a slow news day yesterday but Harry and Meghan returning to the UK being lead story on BBC seems a bit much.
Overall I'm in favour of the monarchy but those two a pair of freeloading chancers. On another thread there's a thing about worst tv adverts, I'd say any publicity for their Netflix guff and her "wellness" stuff has to be right up there.

I certainly hope none of my taxes are going towards maintaining them in any way. They might be in for a shock when they realise the British public are not as fond of them as they think.

Good morning all.
A coolish refreshing start to the day here 18⁰.
We are meeting up with some friends in Hoddersdon at a riverside pub for some lunch and a walk with the dogs along the Rivrr Lea.

Sounds good. Which river is that ?

I think i might be pregnant!
Went back to bed and had a solid 75 minutes kip them woke up wanting a toasted butty with bacon, cheese and tomatoes. I then realised I had some ham to use up so that replaced the bacon.
It was very nice.
My shins are much better. Still a bit tender but so much better. After my shower I might have a one mile stroll and see how that goes.

I thought they left because it was far far too dangerous for them to be here

Clearly they have more security available now
and Meghan having a "major acting role in the country" is not anything to do with it

Early start today. Need breakfast before the Arctic Circle ceremony on deck

Needed a little something to celebrate. They were offering a dose of cod liver oil too but I resisted that.

I went to the Co Op to get a few odds and sods.

The leaves are really falling off the trees now. Must be due to the lack of rain.
