What's with all this Harry and Meghan news! Thought they left because they wanted to be out of the limelight. They seem to court it at every opportunity.

Don't know if it was a slow news day yesterday but Harry and Meghan returning to the UK being lead story on BBC seems a bit much.
Overall I'm in favour of the monarchy but those two a pair of freeloading chancers. On another thread there's a thing about worst tv adverts, I'd say any publicity for their Netflix guff and her "wellness" stuff has to be right up there.

I certainly hope none of my taxes are going towards maintaining them in any way. They might be in for a shock when they realise the British public are not as fond of them as they think.

A coolish refreshing start to the day here 18⁰.
We are meeting up with some friends in Hoddersdon at a riverside pub for some lunch and a walk with the dogs along the Rivrr Lea.

Went back to bed and had a solid 75 minutes kip them woke up wanting a toasted butty with bacon, cheese and tomatoes. I then realised I had some ham to use up so that replaced the bacon.
It was very nice.
My shins are much better. Still a bit tender but so much better. After my shower I might have a one mile stroll and see how that goes.

I thought they left because it was far far too dangerous for them to be here

Clearly they have more security available now
and Meghan having a "major acting role in the country" is not anything to do with it

Yup - the trees at the back of our garden have been covering the patio with leaves for some weeks

almost like a light version of Autumn!

My sources reckon Harry has jumped before he was pushed.
Apparently the US immigration services take a very dim view of anyone convicted of, or admitting to taking, illegal drugs.
Harry has admitted to taking drugs in his book, and it would appear that he therefore allegedly lied to get his original visa; not something they take lightly.
The chances of him renewing his visa would seem to be zero.
........and Trump doesn't like him.
The mainstream media aren't touching the real story.

Well I finally arrived at my first stop for the Vuelta, not where I wanted to park but they've got that all taped off, I suppose for something to do with the race. So I'm about a Km from the finish line of stage 3 and I know because the finish is up, just waiting for the rest of the paraphernalia. So the temperature is much better, high teen's to low 20's through the day and dropping to low double digits at night, I might have to get the duvet out. There are thunder storms predicted today over the weekend and Monday the day of the race.

So the said finish line and a photo of the mountains with the clouds just cloaking the tops.
