Good morning. A warm and pleasant day beckons. I don't know if I'm coming or going in here. I could have sworn I popped in yesterday but perhaps not?? There you go. We had a good ride and I returned to continue decorating the stairs and landing. We have new carpet arriving next Tuesday. All that remains to day is to rehang the mirror, long ladder required  , put the handrail back up and finish filling the mousehole....................this is an old house, at the top of the stairs a small amount of plaster came off years ago. We call it the mousehole. #1 always asks if the mouse is at home? I thought it was a game but it turns out she was very worried there might be one.

This morning I'm visiting my bike fitter. All three bikes need fitting only one feels close to absolutely right, about 95% OK....................I may be gone some time. Home to the decorating, trim the tomatoes and then off to Ewood to watch the mighty Blues take on the mighty Blades.

Petes butt is empty, ebikerwidnes is having his bush trimmed...we should,d rename this the Double Entendre thread.

Double entendres? OK, give me one then 🤷‍♂️

Wasn;t there something about someone's erection??

and this thread has deserved that name for years!

Where is @Fnarr when you need him?

Much more of this double entendres lark and the Mods might not like us anymore.

Salut.
Our present house was built in the 1920s and I was told Conwy County Council have a photograph of it from that time in their archives department.
Ar the time, it was a farm house surrounded by land and very few other houses. Not anymore.
I shall take a trip to their archive place and hope to be able to buy a copy of it.
I love old photos of how places used to be.

The new Drago Towers is built about 50 metres from the site of a wind pump thet dated from the late 1800s to the 1950s. I've tried everywhere, including the local history society, to try and find a photo but no joy

Im also taking lots of photos as the building work slowly progresses. Partly to capture the old landscape, but to also record the new which will itself change and be very different in another 50 years.

Postman has been masquerading as a window cleaner, cleaning inside and out of the front downstairs window and the disgusting front little bedroom window, which is now an office.I was told last year NOT to clean in case i move or damage stuff.Well Mrs P is out till dinner time, and i have taken the chance and done it.I might not survive the day out.Now waiting to go out for lunch.

Just back from the Co-op for a few things and forgot the cat food. Still got enough for a couple of days so I’ll get it another day.

A large bag of Taylor’s ready salted crisps jumped into my basket. It’s purely for the salt for my caffeine withdrawal headache!
