Talking of campers, I found another good channel to follow on YouTube. A young German woman who camps or uses her campervan for trips. She’s done some lovely ones in Scotland and has been to the Lake District recently too. She has a cute little dog called Otto.

There's one I watch who is from Australia. A young lady in a huge converted 4x4. She is seriously intrepid. Often alone in huge open landscapes. Can't remember the channel name though.

I also like Lauren Landers & her cat that sailboat their way around Polynesia etc. I would love to be that brave and exploratory.

Speaking of getting things off your chest, every week I accompany Mrs Tkk who is a walk leader for a group that was originally a council initiative " Poole Health Walks " but they have been gradually withdrawing their involvement. A regular dozen plus walkers, mostly oldies, some recently bereaved. It's a mixed bunch and we all get along well, there's even a budding romance between a couple of them, one in his 90's 😎. There are a couple of ladies who take the less challenging route and I accompany them. They're both well off but crikey do they moan about anything and everything. I will try to steer the conversation in a more positive direction but they will swiftly turn it back to something negative. It does get quite wearing and it's usually instigated by the one lady who can be a bit Hyachinth Bucket. I can see myself snapping soon and pointing out that their conversations are overwhelmingly negative, but that will probably give them something else to moan about. Ok, thanks for listening, rant over 😂

It does but it is the current position. I had another one pop up in my news feed this morning about pension credits All the sources are owned by Reach plc who write a single piece of copy and publish across 500 or so titles..............all aimed at outraged of Tunbridge Wells. I'm forever blocking them!!

I too get fed up with nonsense speculative 'News' that is some iteration of doom & gloom, that pops up online.

Good week here so far.

Was a bit down last week as I was waiting for my latest bone marrow biopsy results.

Got the results now and I am still all-clear and in the deepest level of remission. So good News there.

Today: still in bed as it is wet and windy, which puts the mockers on our planned walk. We still might get a Carnic (picnic in car + Kindles) in.

Home now from the daughters.
Front of house cleared of massive rose tree, various other shrubs that had gone rogue and were covering the front of the house and reaching out 4 to 5 feet into the front garden. Also the sideway has been cut back so now there is access to the front door which is actually on the side and to the back garden.
The house has been more or less empty for four years or so, the owner being in a nursing home, one of the children has been there on and off. It was a probate sale, it needs a bit of work, hence the scaffolding and the roofers starting work, my daughter sees it as a longish term project.
By the way, I got quite wet this morning. 😁
