I had a chat with my friendly local Azamon driver yesterday @ about 19:00 when he was delivered my package..
Much more to do? I asked.
Not many more now..
Many drops today?
About 260....😱

This is not a dig, more of a get it off your chest thing. I'm forever reading from outraged pensioners about government planning to tax my pension, it all goes in tax, blah, blah. Most have never read anything more than a headline, don't understand pension contributions, tax law or much else. The fact is anyone whose sole income is the state pension is and will be exempt from taxation.

This isn't a kindness but a recognition of the cost and difficulty of collecting tiny amounts of tax from millions of pensioners.

Unfortunately many are unable of reading past the clickbait headline or do any research of their own before getting all irate. Certain MP's and Media know this but it's what feeds them.

Back from my walk, 13km in total. Stopped for a coffee and croissant at Limoncello near the quay. Fortunately managed to sneak past both the Marine camp and the SBS base without being press ganged😉

Feeling very windswept after walking along the prom at Mablethorpe. Both dogs had a swim.

Back now acting up so painkiller o'clock.

Well it ended up properly raining here this morning and we got caught on the way back from the centre so got a bit wet, was proper water running down the road job but it's eased off now so will see if the fixed/bodged guttering worked.
