Me too. I find the noise of music quite intrusive and annoying unless I am really in the mood for it, and usually only last about 20 minutes before I turn it off again.

Salut. I think it is going to be a day of doing nothing today as the weather is not very cooperative. Strong winds and showers .
I was hoping to finish the month with a ride but it won't happen.
We started watching a series called : " A place to call home " on Prime . We watched 4 episodes last night and I think we will watch a few more today.

My diabetic results were good below borderline 45
but my hb is low so I have amemia again,
yet I do take iron tablets, but it's only a low dose
I have to see the nurse again, so I'll get it sorted
but that is why I feel tired all the time,
and of course not getting a good night's sleep too.

Do you take them with something like orange juice so the vitamin c helps absorption? Also at least half an hour before or after drinking tea or coffee.

Yes but my music taste changes all the time. I have Alexa so will tell it to play what I'm in the mood for.

You know the phrase "location location location" which largely determines house values.
There is an area on the Wirral calked Upton. I've not been there for many moons but it was always slightly upper class.
I read there is a small very basic 3 bed semi (might be end terraced) for sale.
The estate agent explains, it has been in the same family since the 60s and virtually nothing has been done. It needs gutting and I mean completely gutting so gawd knows what the overall cost would be but the asking price is......offers over £185K.
Overall that will be one expensive semi.

Took some split tomatoes round to a friend's for her tortoises. Granddaughter likes to feed them and they had grapes as a treat. They like being stroked under the chin so granddaughter eventually got the hand of it. Loads of butterflies including Red Admiral and Painted Lady, plus saw four Hummingbird Hawkmoths 😎

We had a tortoise for years, its name was Herbert. He would come when called and lift his chin to be tickled.
He loved strawberries and helped himself to my crop.
Then someone stole him ..... we knew who did it but had no proof.
We couldn't bring ourselves to replace him.

Our friend has nine, several passed on to her from older people either passing away or going into care. They're strictly segregated by gender into their own section of the garden as she doesn't want any more. One of them has taken to walking the length of the garden, up the step into the kitchen if the door is left open and from there into the living room. Sometimes the only indication is that the books from the bottom of the bookcase are in disarray 😁
