Evening all .Not done much this bank holiday Monday , Went out of breakfast which was nice then went up to Draycote reservoir to watch the big dinghy pursuit race they have on bank holidays . Then spent the afternoon hiding from the showers .
Spent most of Sunday at the sailing club The race went well……in the end .With 15 min to go I was 6th out of 9th and feeling a little cheesed off. When the race finished I was in 2nd place and nearly caught Mrs exlaser for the win. ( and feeling like a sailing god lol…. well feeling like I am vaguely capable at this sailing lark at least 😀) . Then Mrs exlaser and I stayed at the club to help the duty team with a number of new members that wanted to go sailing . There was a really nice vibe at the club yesterday .

Morning. Can’t believe we are in September. Seems like yesterday it was last Christmas!

It’s dry at the moment but the rain is due by 6am so looks like I’ll get wet even if I set off shortly.

Good morning all.
Unlike Mo we are due a dry day. Cool right now but should warm up soon.
I am not hungry as I has a late(ish) large Chinese meal yesterday.
Busy this morning. I have decided to have my drive and side garden block paved. I have given the contractor the nod so have to go and choose the blocks this morning. I am pretty sure I will go for whats called brindle (deep red and brown mix) with charcoal edging but I want to see them in the flesh.
Next I need bird food and some man food/milk etc.
Then a belated walk.......it will be warm by then so possibly shorts and T shirt weather.

A cloudless sky at the moment with no tain forecast for today. Temperature is going to get to 21⁰
Sainsburys are delivering the weekly goodies between 9 and 10 of the am clock. Then I'm going out on the bike for a while, its been three days since my last ride, my legs are gettting twitchy.

Taking MrsDs car back to the garage this morning as they were unable to do the job last week due to lack of parts.
Got the NSU Quickly road legal, so will nip out on that later.

I've the usual daily housework and a bit of gloss painting to do. Parish carncil meeting tonight so I can update them on the small claims case we have running against a supplier.

Sunny here this morning with a cool breeze, will pop in to the 'village' in a bit and then maybe get the nice USA Trek out of the loft to look at re-building it as a utility bike; other old ally Trek and the Diamond Back will go in the loft until we get a chance to donate it to a charity bike shop in Cambridge.

Up again and it's just rained the moment I put a stack of washing on. Hopefully a heavy short shower and dries soon.
Paln today is haircut, continue clearing out/tidying up my garage and various other chores.
Might get a weights session in later.
