Wet ride on the Grom to visit friends - just seen an advert on TV for an Electric Renault 4 with a canvas roof - what could possibly go wrong, it's French, it's full of zappy batteries, it's got a canvas roof and sometimes it rains 🤔

Wet and grey here,so is the weather.Out for lunch three of us,celebrating Mrs P's burpday.The Inn at Scarcroft.A nice nearly two hours just lazily eating and waiting in between courses,nothing to rush about for.

Had a good time at the pub. The singer was okish for the 1st half.
2nd half he did lots of Irish/Dubliners type stuff and had people up dancing (not me) and that was very good.
Now, you mustn't tell Dirk but I sinned and had fish, chips and mushy peas....followed by a double scoop of ice cream. It was an excellent meal.

Came to a halt on the Trek build/conversion with a stuck bb so now on it's side getting flooded with Silkopen, will try again tomorrow.

Meanwhile carried on sorting through stuff from the cupboard clear-out, mostly lots and lots of photos.

Good morning. As I was getting up I'm sure i passed Numbnuts on his way back to bed .
So.....up at stupid o'clock again. Its pleasantly warm.......have you seen Sunday's forecast ?.....24° !!!.
Today, hmm, my cleaner is coming early due to her kids school hours. This means 1) I have to get the bedding washed early (part of our routine) and 2) it knocks my early walk on the the head. I can let her in at 09.30 then leave her to it which means I'm heading out when I would normally be getting back.
I will cogitate on my world shattering problems.

Morning. A dry start and 13 degrees. Still t shirt weather for me but Numbnuts would be freezing.

I tried yet another new pillow last night. A Talatex latex contour one. Too soon to tell after just one night, but I’m hoping I’ve finally found “the one”.
