Actually got the Trek rideable today and nipped out for a quick test ride, still some fettling to do but mostly ok considering the mix of parts.

I agree with him but eg the standard Aldi curry with rice @less that £3 is imo excellent value and is plenty for me.
Ive not tried the premium range that he refers to as it doesn't include rice and by the time I add rice and possibly naan it would be too much for me.
The Aldi curries are really good at £3.99
Butter chicken, chicken tikka massala & jalfrezi are all excellent.
We add roasted peppers and fried tomato to ours.
