Morning chaps and chapesses. Its darker than the inside of Dragos y fronts or so i believe as, fortunately, ive never been there.
'Tis raining but due to be a nice day.
I'm at the hairdressers 10.30 and the pub at 12.00. If I'm going to get a walk in it will have to be early ie before its warmed up OR maybe walk to/from the hairdresser. I will cogitate.

Here we go again. A clear sky at the moment but no rain forecast for today.
Some errands tun later on so I'll be out and about on the bike, also I'll try to get a haircut as I failed last week due to a lot of mothers and school kids filling up the barbers.

Got a visitor from a neighbouring parish council popping in at lunchtime. Turns out hes a fellow ex dibble skipper that I knew, mentored me as a PC when I xferred from TVP to Northants so we'll doubtless have lots to gossip about.

Dry and bright albeit still quite cool.
Tip run again to take all packing etc from new desk and sideboard we've bought.
I need to adjust latch on new gates we've had installed, it's not quite right. Easy fix though.
Then a ride later is the plan.

It was such a nice morning I did the hill walk then the riverside trail as well so nearly 9.4 miles.

Porridge with banana and blueberries just finished.

OK - something weird

Yesterday I got an email from Virgin Media saying that there was a problems with out TV box
OOOOK - possible
gave the right member ship numbers and stuff and said I needed to click on a link
and the link seems to be valid when I hover over it

BUT when I log onto the web site without using links from emails
then there is no mention of a problem

so I'm a bit dubious

and today I got an email with the subject

NEGATIVE

which is strange
turns out to be from the Mersey Gateway bridge saying that my Local User Discount has failed a random test
which is strange as the requirement are easy to check on

AND - the counsel website has been down all day - bridge is a separate company but it does seem strange


so I am wondering what is going on!

Never click on links or use the contact number sent in an email, use the number you know is genuine. You may occasionally get a real email from companies you deal with but easier just to treat them all as scams.

Up, coffee consumed, just about to set off for a stroll, a touch chilly this morning, only 15°C. Oh well I'll enjoy it while I can heading back down to Granada tomorrow.

I have an onerous task today. I'm the one who has to go and purchase 6 tickets for the upcoming Poole beer festival in October. That means a bus journey to the Barking Cat this lunchtime. I hope the lads appreciate my efforts.
