6.4 mile wander done and just finished my muesli.

I’ll stick the telly on later for the Great North Run. Elite women start at 10.25 and men at 10.50 if anyone else is interested.

I enjoy watching it, more so than the big marathons.
Unfortunately I'm committed to the tour in the park.

Is there a simple way to get a photo from "proper" camera to this forum without a lap top/computer.
Reason for asking is, I'm thinking of resurrecting my DSLR but no longer have a lap top.

I have a dongle that accepts an SD card and then plugs in to my phone. Does exactly what you want

You used to be able to get an SD card for cameras that had the ability to transmit to your phone/laptop

can't remember how it did it - and not even sure it still is being made

I did consider it for my "proper camera" some year ago but decided it was not worth the extra
but it was a "new thing" at the time so there might be cheaper ones around now

so you probably won;t hear from me if I don;t take the laptop
typing on the phone generally is so error prone that I just don;t bother
but I'll keep watching what everyone is saying

You used to be able to get an SD card for cameras that had the ability to transmit to your phone/laptop

The easiest method is probably to buy a SD card reader for a phone and import the photos, most laptops have an SD card slot.
