Mo, serious question.
Is there a simple way to get a photo from "proper" camera to this forum without a lap top/computer.
Reason for asking is, I'm thinking of resurrecting my DSLR but no longer have a lap top.

I have a dongle that accepts an SD card and then plugs in to my phone. Does exactly what you want

You used to be able to get an SD card for cameras that had the ability to transmit to your phone/laptop
can't remember how it did it - and not even sure it still is being made
I did consider it for my "proper camera" some year ago but decided it was not worth the extra
but it was a "new thing" at the time so there might be cheaper ones around now

The easiest method is probably to buy a SD card reader for a phone and import the photos, most laptops have an SD card slot.

Good morning. A bright and sunny day here in Lancashire. I see I've been AWOL for seven days and 28 pages or so. Mea culpa! It's been a busy week; Mrs P's birthday, two days of childminding then away for three days with friends. We did a a Warner Holiday hotel and had a great time, on our own. We didn't join in. The manager said to me "you realise the entertainment is mainly what you've paid for?" "Yep. That isn't why we came." It's a bit like Butlins for old people! 
The headline turn was Leanne Mitchell...............................she won the Voice UK in 2012. You get it?
Anyway today I have to finish painting the shed. I'm riding tomorrow and the rest of the week is either busy or dodgy weather. I will return with a G&T this evening.
